Areas Covered

Astwood Equine Osteopaths is based on our dressage and livery yard in Astwood Bank near Redditch, Worcestershire.

We cover Worcestershire, Warwickshire (including Birmingham), Gloucestershire, Cotswolds, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire borders and Derbyshire borders.

Visits outside this area can be made by special appointment, please call us on 07725 219861 to discuss your needs.

Fees

Equine

1, 2 or 3 horses: £60 each

Group discounts apply for horses treated at the same time at the same location:

4 or more horses: £50 each

6 or more horses: £45 each

Rider treatment: £40 each (when horses treated at same venue)

Travel is charged at 50p per mile (one way). The first 10 miles incur no charge. Why not get a few horses together and split the travel charge between you all and benefit from a group discount on the treatment fee.

All treatment fees and travel charges are payable immediately. Please note there is a £1 charge for bank cards. We no longer accept cheques.

Many insurance companies cover the cost of osteopathic treatment, please contact your insurer directly to check if your horse is covered.

Rider treatment

Horse riders need a specialised approach from a therapist that understands the unique demands that are placed on the body whilst riding. Andrew has developed specific straightening and strengthening exercises for horse riders.

You can be treated at the yard along side an equine treatment or if you get 4 or more people together, at a venue of your choice (travel charges still apply).
